Along with two other graduate students and a group of high school students at John Bartram High School, I co-produced, -directed, and -edited this short film. It depicts how students and educators at a neighborhood high school in Philadelphia both experienced and resisted the challenges of under-resourcing. My dissertation project grew out of this community filmmaking project, which was sponsored by both Penn GSE Film's (UPenn) and the Philadelphia School District.
